Our Story: A Personal Connection to Persian Rugs
I grew up in Iran, surrounded by Persian rugs that were much more than floor coverings. They reflected a rich tradition of craftsmanship, intricate patterns, and designs passed down through generations.
Sam Marvi
That early connection shaped my appreciation for rugs and the character they bring to a home.
When I started RugPick, my goal was simple: to make it easier for Canadians to find beautiful, quality rugs at reasonable prices. I wanted to bring together an appreciation for traditional Persian designs and a practical understanding of what people need in their everyday homes.
My background in art, rug design, and information technology helped shape that approach. Today, RugPick combines a personal appreciation for rugs with an online shopping experience designed to help customers explore different styles, sizes, and materials.
Today, RugPick is a Canadian-owned business focused on bringing together traditional Persian influences and practical rug choices for modern homes. We believe customers should have access to attractive designs, useful product information, and fair prices.
